Roger Buehler

I am a professor in the Social Psychology program at Wilfrid Laurier University. My research interests lie generally in the areas of social cognition and the self. I focus on people's thoughts about themselves through time, including their memories, predictions, goals, and motivation.

Specific research topics include the planning fallacy, prediction of task completion times, affective forecasting, visual perspective in imagery, motivation and goal pursuit, mood and cognition, and autobiographical memory.
